S + V1 (he/she/it + V1-s) | do/does + not + V1

Regular actions, facts, schedules. Third person singular takes -s/-es. Questions and negatives use do/does.

Examples

  • I check emails every morning.
  • She works in logistics.
  • Does he drive a truck?

  • She work in logistics.

    She works in logistics.

    Third person singular requires -s: she works.

Common mistakes

  • Dropping -s in third person: he go → he goes.
  • do/does + verb with -s: Does she works? → Does she work?
